Hymns Of Faith - Best of Hymns

Count Your Blessings

By: Johnson Oatman, Jr., 1856-1922

1 When upon life's billows you are tempest-tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings - name them one by one,
And it will surprise you, what the Lord hath done.

Chorus:
Count your blessings - name them one by one,
Count your blessings - see what God hath done;
Count your blessings - name them one by one,
Count your many blessings - see what God hath done.

2 Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings - ev'ry doubt will fly,
And you will be singing as the days go by. [Chorus]

3 When you look at others with their lands and gold,
Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold;
Count your many blessings - money cannot buy
Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high. [Chorus]

4 So amid the conflict, whether great or small,
Do not be discouraged, God is over all;
Count your many blessings - angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you to your journey's end. [Chorus]

The Sacrament of Reconciliation

Lord I come before You before face to face.

In persona Christi I'm forgiven

I'm made new in Your saving grace

Forgive me Father , for I have sinned

I'm sorry for what I have done

It's been this long since I've seen you

But I know He wants us to be as one.

You counsel me and guide me in

The ways that I should go

With absolution and penance

I'm clean and I'll go

Tell everyone I know

About

The Sacrament of Reconciliation

Lord I come before You before face to face.

In persona Christi I'm forgiven

I'm made new in Your saving grace

TUJUAN HIDUP MANUSIA KRISTEN MENURUT AKITAB

TUJUAN HIDUP MANUSIA MENURUT AKITAB

Untuk apa kita hidu;? Apa tujuan hidup kita ? Menurut Alkitab, tujuan hidup orang Kristen (Katolik) adalah :

1. Menjadi terang.

Salah satu Konggregasi hidup bakti Gereja Katolik, yakni Serikat Yesus, memiliki motto: Ad majorem, Dei Gloriam (Latin) , = meaning "For the greater ."

JPS, 15 -19 Juli 2024.

7. Memecahkan masalah. Berani menghadapi masalah dan berjuang mengatasinya. "Aku mengutus kamu seperti domba ke tengah serigala. Hendaklah kamu cerdik seperti ular dan tulus seperti merpati ( Mat 10: 16)

8. Berbagi ("Inilah tubuhKu, inilah darahKu yang diserahkan bagimu.). (Matius 26:26-28; Lukas 22:19-20; 1 Korintus 11:23-26) (JPS, 23Juli 2024.).

Siapakah manusia menurut KS.
